HOME COUNTY MUSIC & ART FEESTIVAL
The Home County Folk League enriches and supports the cultural life of London’s four county community through the presentation of predominantly Canadian roots-oriented music and original crafts and art, through an annual summer festival and various events.
In 2022, Home County Music & Art Festival celebrated being London’s premier summer festival with their 47th annual festival. The first Home County took place in 1974, so they were approaching 50 years of celebrating local music, art and food in downtown London’s beautiful Victoria Park.
I was tasked to create an illustrative poster highlighting the headlining artists performers and include elements of the London skyline in the poster. The details of the other artists, the local foundations and the dates along with their social media information was also included in the poster.
ATARI POSTER
The Atari 2600 is a home video game console developed and produced by Atari, Inc. Released in September 1977 as the Atari Video Computer System (Atari VCS).
I was tasked to create an accurate black and white illustration of the Atari dimensions along with all it’s
features. I replicated the Atari using only Adobe Illustrator tools and techniques to create a seemingly real photo of the console. We were given the task to create a poster on it as well and include details about the console and create a retro feel that people back then would see in shopping malls and magazines.
MICHAEL JORDAN - ILLUSTRATED QUOTE
Michael Jordan (born February 17, 1963, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.) American collegiate and professional basketball player widely considered to be one of the greatest all-around players in the history of the game. He led the Chicago Bulls to six National Basketball Association (NBA) championships (1991–93, 1996–98).
I was tasked to create a digital painting of a famous person and add one of their well-known quotes as a part of the design. I created the Michael and the background digitally in Photoshop using various brushes and digital painting techniques, and took it to Adobe Illustrator to add the quoted text to finish the piece.
